Why do you only take payment via Paypal?
We are a small business and do not have the resources to set up secure merchant facilities on our website. Paypal provides secure third party payment. At no time are your payment details displayed to or entered into the Jollybooknut website. You do not have to create a Paypal account – it is possible to pay via credit card using Paypal – just follow the links.

Can you give me a rough guide on shipping charges?
The cheapest Australia wide shipping charge is $4.50. This is for books/total orders weighing under 250 grams. Orders up to 500 grams are $5.70.
As an example, most Agatha Christie titles weigh 100-150 grams each.

How long will it take to get my books?
Books are sent via Australia Post Parcel Post, unless a 3kg ExpressPost satchel is cheaper for the total weight of the order. Books are shipped as soon as possible after payment is confirmed, usually the next business day. Please allow 3-5 days for delivery.

I live outside Australia and would like to place an order. Shipping is only listed for Australian destinations. Can I still buy books?
Yes! But please contact us first with the titles of the books you wish to purchase and the shipping destination so we can give you an accurate quote on shipping.

Can I pick up my order?
No. Jollybooknut is an online store only. This allows us to minimise our overheads and keep the books as cheap as possible.

I am looking for a certain book. You don't have it listed. Do you have a 'Books Wanted' service?
Please contact us if you are looking for a particular title. We will contact you if we come across it.

Do you sell anything other than fiction/biographies?
At this stage Jollybooknut is focussing on providing a large number of fiction and biographies only. If you are chasing a particular title (of any book type), please contact us and we will keep an eye out for you.
