On a vacation cruise, Perry and Della meet Mrs Newberry, a woman under severe strain. She is trying to keep it quiet that her husband probably embezzled the money that allows them and their daughter Belle to take the elegant cruise. It doesn't help that Belle is the spitting image of a fabulous movie star, because now someone has replaced her photo with a photo of the movie star in a frame Belle's father, Mr Newberry, had locked in his suitcase. Nor does it help that the same suspected embezzler ends up overboard, and his wife, now Mason's client, has his wet money belt....
